Due to threats made at other schools within CCSD & across the state, our district wants to be proactive and place ALL schools on heightened awareness. We are all safe at WFB and we currently have police presence at all school locations as well. Please do not be alarmed. This is strictly out of precaution.

7th grade science challenge - Create sculptures with Solo Cups. Rules: You can only touch the cups with a rubber band and yarn. Result: The funniest team building challenge I’ve ever seen! Congratulation to Team Cheese for 1st place and Team Lil Jigglypuffs for 2nd place!
Our 7th graders have been learning about cells! We started with the plasma membrane. Students were able to see the flexibility, semi-permeability, and opening/closing of the membrane to allow molecules in and out. We had so much fun!! 🥼👩🏻🔬🧬
Our first responders visited WFB this morning! A huge thank you to The Upper Room Church, Langdale Methodist and Fairfax Methodist for providing food! We are so thankful for our local heroes! ❤️🤍💙

We are aware of threats made to schools in surrounding counties last week and yesterday. However, NO threats have been directed at WFB or any of our CCSD schools at this time. Our schools are operating normally & we are continuously monitoring safety at all times.
