Join us for a special PTO Night! In addition to our regular meeting, we’ll host our annual Title I meeting and celebrate National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month. Mental health professionals will be available to support, answer questions, and provide resources for families.
The Title I meeting will inform parents about the program’s goals, funding, and your right to be involved in your child’s education. You’ll also learn about the School-Parent Compact and Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and have a chance to ask questions, share feedback, and discuss ways to strengthen our school-home partnership.

⭐️Ice Cream Celebration Alert!⭐️
A huge shoutout to our September Students of the month, we celebrated students hard work and great character with a sweet ice cream treat!🍦Special thanks to our PTO president Ms. Adrian Holloway, and P.H.Y.R.E. for sponsoring this awesome reward.
Miss Dark’s class had an awesome time on their field trip to West Point Lake for Special Day! Students enjoyed petting animals, boat rides, delicious food, bouncy houses, and most of all, lots of fun and laughter.✨
On September 24th, Eastside J. P. Powell Elementary School and Huguley Elementary both welcomed Author Carmen Deedy. She told stories to the students of her books as well as her journey to becoming an author. This was an amazing experience and Mrs. Deedy was very happy with her visit to our school.
All Students will be receiving two books written by Mrs. Carmen Deedy to go home with them next week (October 6th).
