We are so grateful for Mr. Holloway, Ms. Ray, and Mr. Bill and all the ways they go above and beyond to keep our school clean and safe.

They truly do it all! Whether it’s Mr. Holloway jumping off cars in the car rider line, Mr. Bill offering comforting hugs, or Ms. Ray sharing endless snacks and positivity, their care and dedication shine through everything they do! We appreciate them here at Eastside ✨🖤💛

Miss Dark’s class had an awesome time on their field trip to West Point Lake for Special Day! Students enjoyed petting animals, boat rides, delicious food, bouncy houses, and most of all, lots of fun and laughter.✨

On September 24th, Eastside J. P. Powell Elementary School and Huguley Elementary both welcomed Author Carmen Deedy. She told stories to the students of her books as well as her journey to becoming an author. This was an amazing experience and Mrs. Deedy was very happy with her visit to our school.

All Students will be receiving two books written by Mrs. Carmen Deedy to go home with them next week (October 6th).

Nominate Our Stars for Teacher & Support Staff of the Year!

The time has come to recognize the incredible dedication of our Eastside JPP Magnet School educators and support staff! Do you know a teacher who inspires, or a staff member who always goes the extra mile?

We are officially opening nominations for our Teacher of the Year and Support Staff of the Year awards, and we need your input! Whether it's a teacher who ignites a love for learning or a staff member whose efforts make our school run smoothly and positively, we want to hear about them.
